The Bulls dealt center Eddy Curry to the New York Knicks on Monday, ending a contentious negotiation in which the Bulls insisted the restricted free agent take a DNA test over a heart problem.

In making the announcement, an obviously frustrated Bulls general manager John Paxson did not specify what the Bulls got in return and he did not field questions.

This is too bad. Curry was a very big part of the Bulls success last year. They are going to have a hard time replacing his offense. Good centers are just hard to come by. At the same time, I understand the Bulls' position in not offering him a long-term co
