I just wanted to see who people think the cubs will get to play right field. Thoughts?

Brandon Sing and Bobby Brownlie remain part of the Cubs' farm system, but the St. Louis Cardinals selected Cubs' righthanded pitcher Juan Mateo as the 11th out of 12 selections in the Rule V draft.

Maybe this isn't news, but it's news to me. Tucked away in the article announcing John Mabry's signing, Carrie Muskat writes this:

"The Cubs had designated utility player Jose Macias for assignment when they acquired reliever Bob Howry."

So I guess it turns out that Howry provides relief in more ways than one.
