Pinto loses control, Nolasco pitches well again, and Patterson steals 3.

Curry Out for Playoffs

Bad news for Eddy Curry and the Chicago Bulls: "The Bulls have a 7 p.m. news conference at the Berto Center today to announce that center Eddy Curry will be sidelined for the remainder of the regular season and playoffs because of his irregular heartbeat, a team source said," reports the Chicago Tribune.

This has been such a successful season, but it's hard to see how they will be able to do much in the playoffs without Curry. CubsNet.com wishes him the best.

Cubs open season 4-5

Well the cubs are off to a 4-5 start. Not to bad. I think Carolos Zambrano is going to have a really good year with a ERA under 3.00. Greg Maddux is going to have to have better stuff for the cubs to win. Dempseter, well I just dont know. If he has control hes pretty good. I think if Wood and Prior stay healthy and Zambrano has electric stuff the cubs will go deep in the playoffs. I am from South Carolina. I watch the cubs religously though. I will be heading to Wrigley this summer. The cubs have a couple new additions to their lineup this year. I'm tired of people saying we dont have as much power as last year. Heck Jeromy Burnitz hit 37 last year. Of course that was at Coors. The cubs need to improve their recor in one run games. This the cubs will hopefully have enough to win the World Series.
