Former Cub Jose Cardenal in the news
Submitted by diana on Fri, 2005-09-16 11:15.Jose Cardenal was my first favorite Cub player. Here is a bit of news about Jose, who wore jersey number 1 back in the 70's for the Cubs.
Jose Cardenal, the senior advisor to the general manager, wants to help the victims of Hurricane Katrina, and is looking to auction his 1998 World Series ring. Cardenal was the Yankees' first-base coach, when the Bronx Bombers won the 1998 World Series over the Padres.
