Acording to an article I just found the Nationals have re-vamped there offer to Sosa, guarenteeing him a major league spot.

This is my first entry on CubsNet, and I feel like venting a bit on Jerry Hairston, and Hendry because not enough people are. So, here I go...

Throughout the off-season, I have heard so many trade rumors involving Todd Walker (Thank God that didn't happen), and none involving Hairston. My question is "Why?" He is, in my opinion, the most over rated, and one of the most overpaid members of the team.

Now, Hendry's latest problem is agreeing with Will Ohman, who in my opinion was one of the better/best reliever on the team last year. He wants 775 thousand, that's less then what they paid Jose Macias, and much less then what they paid MANY relievers with worse numbers then he had. Hendry won't budge an extra 100 thousand or so? Can't he just pull this out of Hairston's salary?
