Coats up over Restovich and Fontenot

Does anyone have any idea what Restovich or Fontenot have done so that they did not get the call up over Coats? Fontenot is batting .296 and is a legitimate infielder. Restovich is batting .297 and is 3rd in the league with 24HR. Coats was batting .277 and does not play the infield very well. Both Fontenot and Restovich have had very productive years, but yet have not been given an opportunity to play with the big club.

Frustrated Frustrated and more Frustrated

My frustration with the Cubs has come to an all time high. The Cardinals have now lost 8 games in a row. How many games have the Cubs been able to gain back during that same time frame? One!!! I am well aware that this team is not a play off contender but please one game. Dusty must go and he must go now!!!! Honestly, I really don't think Dusty wants to be the Cubs manager any longer. ( At least that is what I keep telling myself) It is either that, or Dusty is the most stuborn Manager alive. Why does he keep sending the same sorry crew out day in and day out? What is wrong with changing things up a little? Send Murton down call up Restovich or anyone else for that matter. I realize that his options are limited but do somthing. Basically I am asking him to (what do you call it) MANAGE!!! Make the changes necessary to get your team to play.

Yankees interested in Jones

The following article talks about how the Yankees have some interest in Jacque Jones. In my opinion I make this deal regardless of what you get in return. Although I admit that Jones has been fairly consistent and some what of a bright spot, I still feel that it was a mistake to sign him. If the Yankees are willing to take his contract off the Cubs' hands I say make the deal. We can plug in Pie, or Restovich for the remainder of the year. http://www.nydailynews.com/sports/baseba...

Restovich

I realize it's triple A but Micheal Restovich has hit 4 homers in 3 days and is currently batting .315. I believe that his average has not dipped below .290 since returning to the team. I am not sure what the knock on this guy is, but with the Cubs offensive problems I think he needs more of a shot then he received earlier in the year.
