Derrek Lee Signs

The Chicago Cubs have called a Tuesday news conference and the AP and ESPN report that they will announce a new 5-year, $65M contract for Derrek Lee. The deal replaces Lee's current contract, so he will be signed through 2010. It also contains a no-trade clause.

$13M each year, apparently
At this point, the deal appears to call for $13M each year of the contract. The 40-man roster and contracts page has been updated.
