Iowa lost 8-5. Michael Restovich hit his second homer of the year and the first five hitters in Iowa's lineup each had multiple-hit games as the ICubs scored 6 runs in the final four innings. Bobby Brownlie continued to struggle, allowing 2 runs in the 9th inning. He has now allowed 7 runs on 14 hits in his 5 innings of work.

West Tenn won 6-2. JR Mathes allowed just 1 unearned run in 5.1 innings, striking out 6 and walking 1. Leftfielder Luis Montanez went 2-4 and is hitting .438 on the year.

Daytona lost 12-3. Starting pitcher Justin Berg was hit hard (7 runs in 5.1 innings) and reliever Angelo Burrows was hit even harder (5 runs in 1 inning). On the bright side, reliever Carlos Perez (one of the players received for Corey Patterson) lowered his ERA from 33.00 to 21.21 with 1.2 shutout innings.

Peoria won 6-2. Donald Veal had his best outing of the year, throwing 6 innings and allowing just 1 unearned run. Catcher Mark Reed and third baseman Brandon Taylor each went 2-3 with a walk.
