homers; & Peoria throws a shutout.
Iowa lost 8-1. He struggled against them 2 weeks ago, but this time Renyel Pinto pitched well against his former team, throwing 5 shutout innings. Jae-kuk Ryu allowed 5 runs in his 5 innings, moving his ERA to 4.91. Outfielder Matt Padgett homered in his first at-bat of the season for the ICubs' only run.
Daytona lost 7-5. Matt Weber gave up 5 runs in 5 innings, lowering -- yes, lowering -- his ERA to 10.66. Ryan Harvey hit his 4th homer and Jake Fox his 3rd.
Peoria won 2-0. Mitch Atkins (5 innings), Tim Layden (2), and Edward Campusano (2) combined on the shutout.
West Tenn was rained out.
