Going for the Record: The Worst Team in Team History

The worst Chicago Cubs team in history, measured by run differential, was the 1953 team. Finishing 65-89, the '53 Cubs were outscored by 202 runs. This year's Cubs are now 18-30 and have been outscored by 71 runs. That puts them on pace to be outscored by 240 runs this season, almost 19% worse than they've ever done before.
