CUBS FIRE SALE?
Todd Walker and Juan Pierre have been the big names of rumors in the trading market. I think they should, without a doubt, let Pierre go. His average has dipped 40 points over the last couple of years. I also should note that the Cubs let a great arm get away from them in this deal and that was Ricky Nolasco, who has two victories against the Cubs. I think it is absurd that Todd Walker's name is coming out in trade talks again. He has done everything this organization has asked him to do. Walker is one of the few pure hitter the Cubs have in their lineup right now, and they'll regret if they choose to let him go.

Pierre on block?
But who would want Juan Pierre right now, given his salary? And it's not like the Cubs would be able to get anything of value in return for him.
Pierre on Trading Block?
The Yankees would love to have the speedster Pierre. Remember they need something, they go out and get it. Pierre could even be a pinch runner for them. Trust me, they'd pay to keep pace with the Red Sox!
