Pearlman: Sportswriters Are Spineless on the Steriods Issue

Slate's Jeff Pearlman (formerly of Sports Illustrated) thinks that sportswriters should investigate every home run hitter to determine whether they are using performance-enhancing drugs not covered by MLB's steriod drug testing program. (Link via Baseball Primer.)

True, the problem has always been more than Barry Bonds. But who wants the job of treating everyone like a criminal without any evidence?
