Glendon Rusch's "back spasms" didn't keep him out too long. Rusch threw for the first time tonight for Iowa since being placed on the disabled list ten days ago. He allowed one run in four innings, on two hits, striking out two. The size of Rusch's contract unfortunately makes it hard to keep him in Iowa. Though he could come back and take over long reliever's duties. It's not like Angel Guzman is getting any work.
