Harvey Hits Four Homers
A week-and-a-half ago, I mentioned a big inning -- 7 RBI's -- put forth by Daytona's Ryan Harvey. He "only" had six in tonight's game, but he certainly did it in dramatic fashion. Harvey hit home runs in the 2nd, 6th, 8th, and 9th innings tonight. (Hat tip: Chicago Cubs Minor League Baseball.) The final homer won and ended the game, as Daytona was down 9-7 in the bottom of the 9th with 2 outs and runners on second and third. That's right, Clearwater decided to pitch to Harvey with a base open and two outs, after he had already hit three homers in the game. They were apparently afraid of Matt Ciaramella.
