Well, Greg Maddux is gone, once again, from the Cubs. And in case anyone had any doubts whether he is still Hall of Fame quality at this point in his career, he put on a stupendous show in his first appearance as a Dodger. I will miss him, but I think he is probably energized by being with a contending team. Godspeed forever, Mr. Maddux, and I hope they will give you your number 31 in L.A.
