Why wear a Cubs jersey ???
My mom bought me a Cubs jersey. A local store (Cards fans) had some that were cheaper than what I've been finding online.
I've worn it a few times and found out why these are fun to own.
PEOPLE TALK TO YOU!
A checker at Sam's Club mentioned the game and others have mentioned the Cubbies to me when I've worn it.
It gives people a clue what to say to you.
Granted, I suspect that the Cards fans are staring at me in disdain, but oh well.
Regarding the material these are made of, I suspect that it is for speedy laundering and thats it.

Cubs jerseys, t-shirts half price at Sears!
Shopped at Sears last night and noticed that their Cubs jerseys and t-shirts were on sale at 40-50 % off.
The jerseys included the patches, but they weren't the game style jerseys.
One of their t-shirts had a baseball with a Cubby bear design on it, without any letters on it at all.
Our Sears had Cubs stuff in both the mens department and boyswear too.
Walmart has some Cubs t-shirts marked down too. Try a search on "Cubs" there and see what you find.
I tried a Cubs search at sears.com with no success. I think you just have to shop the store to see what they have.
Hmmm, I wonder if K-Mart has any Cubs clothes???

Check Gordman's store for Cubs logo jackets, etc.
The Gordman's stores seem to have some nice deals on Cubs jackets. They were cheaper than what Cubs jerseys sell for.
I can't imagine the profit percentage on those polyester jerseys...

Where to buy Cubs jerseys, ornaments, etc.
Sam's Club has a huge pile of Cubs jerseys for around $20 to $25.
They're not my favorite design, but if you really want a Cubs jersey at this pricepoint...
Walmart has a lot of Cubs logo items, including mens pajams with the Cubs logo all over them. Try a search on keyword CHICAGO CUBS and see what you can find.
I met a Cubs fan waiting for her table outside of Olive Garden who recommended this website for Cubs stuff.

Try a search on CUBS there and see what you can find there.
Post here if you find something interesting.

The greatest moments in baseball hair history
I am amazed at the details ESPN's Uniform Watch collects.
This isn't info that one could easily find on the web.
The greatest moments in baseball hair history
By Paul Lukas
Sample:
1969: Seattle Pilots pitcher Jim Bouton begins keeping a diary, which will eventually become his landmark book "Ball Four." For the Feb. 28 entry, he writes: "Decided to get a haircut today. … You can never tell how spring training is going to go. I could be one of those borderline cases and the difference between making the club and not making it might be the length of my hair."

New t-shirt on Fukudome
It's actually not profane, so I guess that's creative. www.fukudomeismyhomie.com I'm curious how many bleacher bums in right field will be wearing this.
Anybody else worried about Dempster pitching tomorrow?
As for Cubs jerseys, I was in the basement of Marshall Fields(Macy's now, boo!) and they have some good stuff down there. A bit pricey though.
