The No Complete Game Cubs

This can't be true, can it? A fascinating bit of trivia from MLB.com's Carrie Muskat: "The Cubs entered September with zero complete games by their starting pitchers. In Major League Baseball history, no team has gone an entire season without tossing at least one complete game." None of the rookies are going to throw a complete game. With Greg Maddux gone, only Carlos Zambrano provides a reasonable opportunity for a complete game. But with the Cubs having nothing to play for, it's unlikely he'll go a full nine in September.
