Say what you (or I) will about Neifi Perez, he's got a great attitude. He's quoted in April 14 Chicago Tribune as saying, "I'm not a .300 hitter, but I know I can stop another team from scoring. . . . I appreciate what they did to bring me here. . . . When I signed I knew I was going to be a backup. Whenever he [Baker] needs me, I'm going to be there."

Makes it easy to cheer for him.
