Andre Dawson made a respectable showing, but he failed to garner the needed votes for the Hall of Fame. See AP Link.

That's less than the 61% he got last year. It doesn't look good for him.
Next Year
He may have been hurt a bit by the two sure things this year - Gwynn and Ripken. Next year, I believe, there aren't really any sure-fire first timers, so that may help with voters looking to fill their ballots.
