Mark Prior Leaves Start Early

Mark Prior was scheduled to pitch five innings in a game in extended spring training today, followed up by a start for triple-A Iowa next week. Surprise, surprise, he left early, reports the Chicago Tribune. (Hat tip: 1060west.) If we're not at the point where Mark Prior injury updates are no longer "news," we're awfully close.

Big Surprise
Don't get me wrong... I wish (like every other Cub fan) that Prior would rise to the 15+ win level that he is oh so capable of being - but c'mon! I'm so sick of seeing another report about the 18-game winner from way too long ago headed to the DL! Trade him for a bucket of baseballs and let's move forward with our average starting pitching! Am I alone?
