Prior Done for Year

Now that Mark Prior is out for the year following shoulder surgery, it will be interesting to see when we hear the first mention of his returning as a reliever. He's certainly spent enough time in "bullpen sessions" to get used to the idea.

Well there's $3.6M to waste (roster). Let's see that's more than Wuertz, Ohman, Hill, Guzman, Cotts, & Cherry combined.
At least he's not under contract for next year.

Will Carroll's comments on Prior's surgery are worth reading. The short of it is that Prior had significant damage in his shoulder. Here's to a successful recovery.
