re: Are you going to try to order Chicago Cubs potential playoff
My hopes are for the Cubs to win the division so those playoff tickets are of some value.
My plans are to go to church Sunday morning and hope that some tickets will materialize somehow for me. We'll see how it goes.

I'd have to say, "No, because I live over a thousand miles away from Wrigley Field and would be unable to attend no matter how badly I'd want to go."
re: tickets
Brian, what about the World Series? I've been having conversations with my wife on how much I would be allowed to spend to get a ticket. Would you make the effort, and how much would you spend?
re: tickets
Ummm ... good question. It's hard to see how it would work out for me. I think that regardless of what I was willing to spend, World Series tickets would almost certainly cost more than I could spend. Plus, airfare/gas, lodging, etc., would be expensive for me even without factoring in tickets, or believe me, I'd visit Chicago far more often than I do now, Series or not. I love the place.
Next year, I hope to work this out by actually residing in the Chicago area. But this year I don't think I can make it.
Cubs potential playoff tickets sold out in 30 minutes
Wrigley sold out for division series
By Paul Sullivan, 2: 39 p.m.
It took all of 30 minutes for the Cubs to sell the remaining 15,000 tickets for what would be the first two home games of the post-season should the Cubs make it.
