Pratt throws strikes and shuts out Iowa, and Gallagher moves unearned run streak to 23 innings.

Iowa loses 5-0. To Andy Pratt no less, who threw 6 shutout innings.

West Tenn wins 5-3. Second baseman Ryan Theriot continues to hit the best he has in his career. He went 3-4 with 2 doubles and stole a base. The Diamond Jaxx got 3.1 shutout innngs from its bullpen.

Peoria wins 3-0 and loses 4-1 in a doubleheader. In the win, starting pitcher Sean Gallagher was superb, pitching 6.1 shutout innings, giving up just 2 hits and a walk, striking out 10. Jonathan Hunton pitched the final two outs to complete the 7 inning shutout. Gallagher has yet to allow an earned run in 23 innings this year, and has a 27/4 strikeout/walk ratio. Gallagher was involved in a combined no-hitter in his last outing. On offense, leftfielder Luis Montanez hit his 2nd homer of the year.

In the loss, starting pitcher Jesse Estrada moved to 0-3, giving up 4 runs in 5.1 innings. Third baseman Alberto Garcia went 4-6 in the doubleheader.

Daytona was rained out.
