One week before the start of the 2008 college football season and the Iowa Hawkeyes apparently still do not know who most of their starters are, including -- surprisingly -- at quarterback, reports the Iowa City Press-Citizen. Says head coach Kirk Ferentz, "Thank goodness we're not playing tomorrow. I don't know who we could schedule that we could compete with right now." Well, they do open the season against Maine, a division I-AA team that went 4-7 last year. So that helps.
