I have Comcast cable and yes we get this channel

Comcast subscribers may get MLB Network on April 1, 2009

I received a postcard from Comcast stating that the MLB Network would become available on April 1, 2009.

Don't understand why they've been including the TV listings for this channel since January 1, 2009 without making the actual channel available. We're missing their spring training coverage as a result of the delay. I wonder why they made this decision.

Anyway, I'm glad it will eventually be available via Comcast.

FWIW, I have my Comcast video recorder set to record the MLB Network at midnight on April 1, 2009.

We'll see if it will appear or if it was just an April Fools joke. We've been getting in the tv listings via our cable box for this network since January 1 with no actual tv programs made available. Hopefully this channel will appear as promised.
