I was watching the Cubs game at a local Mexican restaurant and saw the now famous cat at Wrigley 2009 moment.
Yep, I was yelling at the tv (you can't take me anywhere) when the groundskeeper lifted the cat by the tail.
Helpful hints for the future (because this will probably happen again)
1. Oven mitts are great for dealing with angry cats. Since those wouldn't be easy to find, a towel or two would have been very useful to pick up the cat.
2. Always treat animals at Wrigley with the greatest of kindness. You don't want to start an urban legend.
BTW, has anyone timed the cat's running pace for speed and compared it to a Cub player's running speed? Might be a fun comparison.
I hear that some folks have already offered to adopt the Wrigley cat. Even I considered it for a moment.
Hope he finds a fantastic indoors home.
