Harvey, Patterson Injured for Peoria

The Peoria Chiefs announced that 2003 1st round draft pick rightfielder Ryan Harvey has been placed on the 7-day disabled list with back spasms. Harvey is hitting .280/.344/.500 in 21 games, and leads the Chiefs with 5 home runs. Harvey has been out since he left Sunday's (5/1) game.

In addition to Harvey, second baseman Eric Patterson is also injured. He re-injured his hamstring, and his return is "unknown." When healthy, Patterson has been brilliant, hitting .417/.539/.600 and stealing 10 bases in 18 games.
