Fontenot Recalled; Mitre Optioned to Iowa

Sergio Mitre's stint with the big league club was short-lived. Before getting into a game, Mitre was sent down in favor of infielder Mike Fontenot. Fontenot is making his second stint with Chicago this season. He got into tonight's game as a pinch-hitter and flied out. This is the first time this season the Cubs have had 11, instead of 12, pitchers on the 25-man roster.
