Ben Gordon is no longer a Bull. He signed with the Detroit Pistons for 5 years and $55M, slightly more than offers the Bulls had previously made to him.

I'm going to miss Gordon. He was fun to watch and an excellent shooter. He was the NBA's first rookie to win the 6th man award and then led the Bulls in scoring the next four seasons. I anticipate he will have great success in Detroit.

And the Bulls are going to miss him next year.

That said, this gives Derrick Rose more room to step up and the Bulls save cap room for the big 2010 free agent class.

Still, I'm not sure the Bulls quite understood what they had in Gordon.
