Aardsma Sent to West Tenn, Contrary to Earlier Report

David Aardsma, acquired in the LaTroy Hawkins trade, "was sent to Double-A West Tenn," reports the Chicago Tribune. The Tribune had reported yesterday that GM Jim Hendry said Aardsma would enter the rotation at Iowa. Despite West Tenn's stacked rotation, MLB.com reports that Aardsma "could start Monday" for them.

Aardma's debut

David Aardsma made his West Tenn debut today, throwing 5 innings and only allowing one 1. He did walk 5, but only allowed 3 hits and struck out 5.
