Grossman Breaks Ankle

File this under you've got to be kidding me: "Chicago Bears quarterback Rex Grossman broke his left ankle early in the second quarter of Friday night's preseason game against the St. Louis Rams and will be sidelined three to four months," reports the AP.

Does this mean Chad Hutchinson takes over? Does this mean the season is lost before it began?

Hutchinson's 73.6 QB rating,

Hutchinson's 73.6 QB rating, if he had enough attempts to qualify, would have been 30th out of 34 quarterbacks in the NFL last year. The word "great" has lost all meaning.

Bears Sign Blake
