The West Tennessee Diamond Jaxx announced today that 1B/DH Brandon Sing, LHP Renyel Pinto, RHP Ricky Nolasco, and OF Matt Murton were named to the Southern League end-of-season All-Star team.

Sing, 24, is hitting .278/.401/.538 in 396 at-bats and 85 walks and leads the league with 25 homers.

After an excellent season at West Tenn last year, Pinto, 23, got off to a horrible start at Iowa this year (9.53 ERA in 6 starts) and was demoted in May. He's now had a second straight good year in double-A, posting a 2.44 ERA, second in the league, in 125.2 innings, with a 122/55 K/BB ratio and just 3 home runs allowed.

Nolasco, 22, has been very good, posting a 3.03 ERA, 5th in the league, in 155.2 innings, with a 168/42 K/BB ratio.

Murton, 23, hit .342/.403/.498 in 313 at-bats and 29 walks before being called up to the big league club the first time.
