Santo Denied Hall Place Again

The AP reports that 28 members of the Veterans Committee still don't know what they're doing: "Gil Hodges, Ron Santo and everyone else on the ballot fell short Wednesday as once again the baseball Veterans Committee failed to elect anyone to the Hall of Fame. Hodges and Santo came the closest with 65 percent - 75 percent was needed for induction."

3 of them didn't even turn in a ballot. I feel so sorry for Ron. I was thinking about going up to the induction ceremony but as long as they keep denying Santo they will not get any of my money.

Their Idiots! This whole bless us and keep everyone else out club is ludicrous. What Mike Schmidt and others have done is to solidify for all time how their own hatred and their own fear of being out shined caused them from doing the right thing. Anyone who really knows what Ron Santo accomplished, and who Ron Santo is, knows he "MOST CERTAINLY" belongs in the HOF. Schmidt knows that too! So do many others in the bless me club who shunned him. Ron Santo may still make it in while he is living. But if he does not, he can be comforted by the fact that he is not judged by those few short-sighted, fear driven "little people" who kept him out, but by those many "MILLIONS" of adoring fans who will one day assure him of his place there with the greats. Move over Mike Schmidt and the rest of you morons, the real class act will some day out shine you, and you can't stop him!!! Cream Always rises to the top!!!

It would be helpful to know who voted for whom. This is America, we live in an open society. Get it all out in the open and then we could begin a letter campaign.
