Cubs teammates Mark Prior and Ryan Dempster, Hall of Famer Ryne Sandberg, former Cub Mark Grace and Boston Red Sox pitcher Matt Clement.

Hmmm, if these guys can throw a ball 90 mph, I'd hate to be the pinsetter at that bowling alley when they're up.

Can you imagine the curve they could get on a bowling ball?

My video recorder caught part of the WGN sports news the other night with a report on the Kerry Wood bowling event.

I noticed that Mark Prior (a righty) was shown bowling left handed. Teammate Ryan Dempster (also a righty) was shown bowling right handed.

Did anyone else notice this?

Blagojevich has a plan

Blagojevich says he plans to call Cubs general manager Jim Hendry on Monday to set up a meeting to discuss ways to improve his favorite team.

"I asked [Hendry] if I could come and see him," said Blagojevich, who attended Kerry Wood's charity bowling event for Children's Memorial Hospital on Saturday night at 10-Pin Lounge. "I'm looking forward to that. I'm 48 going on 9 when it comes to baseball. I'm really excited to be here, and getting a chance to talk to Kerry Wood was a real thrill for me and my daughter Amy."
