HBO Sports Seeking Help From Cubs Fans For Documentary

HBO Sports is producing a documentary on the Cubs and is seeking help from Cubs fans. Below is the information CubsNet.com received from HBO Sports Producer Patrick Becher:

HBO SPORTS SEEKING HELP FROM CUBS FANS

September 2003 – HBO Sports premieres it’s hour-long documentary The Curse of the Bambino. October 2004 – The Boston Red Sox win the World Series. Coincidence? Maybe, maybe not. Nevertheless, now we would like to give the Cubs a shot.

HBO Sports has recently started production on a documentary about the history of the Chicago Cubs. We want to know what the fans think. If you have any interesting and/or funny and/or unique or poignant stories related to the Cubbies from any point in their history we’d love to hear from you. We are also looking for photos, home movies, ticket stubs, programs, etc. to use in the show. We want to help you get rid of that Billy Goat curse once and for all.

If you are able to help with our search please contact us toll free at (877) 643-4308 or by e-mail at cubs@hbo.com
