Cubs' Rebuilding Job Gets Very Faint Praise
An NBC Sports Columnist, Tony DeMarco, has given only faint praise to Jim Hendry and Dusty Baker's rebuilding job (if that is what it is) so far this off-season. No obvious winning moves other than a stronger bull-pen are perceived, and maybe improved health of the pitching staff regulars can yield a better season. In the end though, where's the concerted offense that they require going to come from? Derrek Lee cannot do it alone.
