The Sun-Times has an article today headlined "Williamson on the block again." The headline oversells the story a bit, though. The story is that Scott Williamson "won't be the least bit surprised if he is traded this month." There is no discussion that Jim Hendry is actively trying to trade Williamson as opposed to any other reliever. The Cubs have a surplus of relievers. So Williamson is only on the block to the same extent that everyone else--excepting, presumably, Dempster, Howry, and Eyre--is on the block.
