Derrek Lee had a better day than Carlos Zambrano. Lee's 4th inning solo home run off of Rodrigo Lopez gave the United States a 1-0 lead over Mexico, and they went on to win 2-0. Lee played the whole game at first, finishing 1-for-3 at the plate. Michael Barrett also played, going 0-1 at the plate after entering the game as a reserve.
