"Reliever Roberto Novoa has been quarantined with a respiratory problem, including fluid in his lungs," reports the Chicago Tribune. "The Cubs hope Novoa will return in a few days."

Novoa is in a bullpen battle for two--maybe three--spots with Michael Wuertz, Todd Wellemeyer, Will Ohman, and Jon Koronka. Novoa and Ohman have pitched better in the very early going, each allowing 1 run in 3 innings. Wellemeyer has been wild and bad, and Wuertz had a poor outing in Wednesday's game.
