Iowa Hawkeyes Win Big Ten Tournament

What a great run. Iowa won the Big Ten Tournament championship game today and will enter the NCAA Tournament as a #3 seed. It's a senior-laden team, and this has been Steve Alford's best year at Iowa in his seven seasons. They were in the regular season title hunt the whole year and finished 2nd at 11-5. They are 25-8 overall, 17-0 at home.

They beat 1st place Ohio St. in the championship game today. Ohio St. has lost just 5 times all year. 2 of those losses are to Iowa.

Iowa was 10-5 against tournament teams this year. Go Hawks!
