Lifestyles of the Cub and famous

The Tribune has a couple articles regarding the homes of Chicago Cubs players. I hope they do more of these features. I don't want to know where they live, but for some reason, how they live is fascinating.

In just nine days, the Cubs open their 2006 season against the Reds in Cincinnati and chances look good that Carlos Zambrano, one of the more dependable members of an oft-injured pitching staff, will be the starter.

The 6-foot-5-inch right-hander keeps an off-season home near the beach in his native Puerto Cabello, Venezuela, but he has yet to purchase anything in the Chicago area. "I think when I have more money in the big leagues, we'll buy a house," he joked -- we think. (Last month, the Cubs signed Big Z to a one-year, $6.5 million contract.)
