The Chicago Tribune's Ed Sherman reports:

It was all Ditka, all the time on the morning sports talk shows Wednesday.

His firing from the Bears after the 1992 season still bothers Ditka. He thought then team president Michael McCaskey handled the situation poorly.

"I dealt with a sneak in Chicago," Ditka told Sean Salisbury and Steve Rosenbloom on WMVP-AM 1000. "I don't really respect people who do those things. When I still have the job, and you talk to somebody else (Dave Wannstedt) behind my back, that's a little disgusting. He talked to the guy he hired before he fired me."
